    Description

Wow! Not only is this book in great condition for its age but it also provides a glimpse into the life of a Midwest teenager in 1917. Incudes three items of special interest: 1) Neil Hansell is a featured Junior and likely relative of Clarance W. Hansell who at one time held 300 patents (at the time this was only second to Thomas Edison). Clarance Hansell is considered by many to a pioneer in both fiberoptics and alternative medicine, specifically the use of negative ions to combatting depression. 2) A student named Estol Call is responsible for a wonderful piece of art featuring a young woman walking a Borzoi in the park. This imagery would become prominent during the Art Deco era. 3) A photo of the Girls basketball team and information about their season.
